Students interested in living in an Honors Residential Community (on-campus housing in University Residences) should visit the housing website for information about availability and contracting.

The on-campus housing contract is available via myPurdue  to students who have accepted their admission offer. To request a specific roommate (all students must be admitted to and accept their Honors College offers), you must submit a housing contract by University Residence's preferred deadline date of April 15. There is a short delay of approximately 2 days between the time you  accept your offer and when you can access the housing contract in your myPurdue portal. Therefore, accepting your offer by April 13 should ensure the contract is available to you by April 15.

The contract for University Residences will remain open until May 5; if you sign a contract after April 15, your housing preferences may not be met.

The John Martinson Honors College cannot sign housing contracts for honors students. If students wish to live on-campus (University Residences) in an Honors Residential Community, then they need to sign a housing contract. If new first-year students miss the May 5 housing contract deadline, they will not receive an exception in connection with their John Martinson Honors College affiliation. Students will need to contact the University Residences Central Assignments Office and request placement on the housing contract waitlist if interested in on-campus housing.

Please direct any housing contract questions to the University Residences office at   newres@purdue.edu
