Mark Aronson
Mark is a proud Boilermaker, having graduated from the John Martinson Honors College and the College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering in 2017. Following his time at Purdue, he completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, during which his research focused on applying quantitative modeling to understand intracellular molecular dynamics. This interest was furthered in his role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute's Janelia Research Campus, where he developed a novel theory for examining nongenetic inheritance in proliferating cellular systems. Following his time performing fundamental research, Mark's desire to apply computational modeling and data science methods to advance health equity brought him to his current role as a United States Digital Corps Fellow at the National Institute for Minority Health and Health Disparities within the NIH.

Kimberly Godden
Ms. Godden is currently the Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Legal, Government Relations, Corporate Compliance and Education for Superior Air- Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. since 2007. Kim advocates for the Emergency Medical Industry in Superior Ambulance states of IL, IN, OH, MI, WI, and Washington D.C. where she serves as Legislative Chair of the American Ambulance Association and former board member. Additionally, she holds positions on IDPH EMS Advisory Council, Illinois State Ambulance Association, and Indiana EMS Association. Kim started her career as a crime victim advocate serving as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) which led to a career with the IL Attorney General’s Office as Chief of the Crime Victim Services Division. Outside of the EMS industry, Kim serves on the boards for IL Chamber of Commerce, Cook County Sheriff’s Merit Board, WorkNet DuPage, Choose DuPage, Illinois Suicide Prevention Alliance (ISPA) and Local Emergency Planning Committee (DuPage LEPC). Kim lives in Chicago with her two daughters and husband. She graduated with her BA in History and Political Science from Purdue University and with her Juris Doctorate from DePaul College of Law.

Daniella Landers
Daniella is a highly skilled and accomplished attorney, serving as a partner in Reed Smith's esteemed Energy & Natural Resources practice group for over 20 years. With extensive experience in the field, she specializes in representing clients from various sectors such as energy, chemicals, commerce, and industry. Daniella's expertise encompasses a wide range of environmental, health & safety, and land use matters. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with dispute resolution, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional issues, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Recognized for her proficiency in managing environmental crises and investigations, Daniella excels in developing customized legal strategies to address complex challenges. Her ability to navigate intricate legal landscapes ensures that clients receive tailored guidance and effective solutions. As a testament to her knowledge and commitment to the legal profession, Daniella has been an adjunct law professor at South Texas College of Law and the University of Houston Law Center for over 13 years. Through her teaching, she imparts her expertise and shapes the next generation of legal professionals. Daniella is highly regarded as a prolific speaker and writer, sharing her insights on environmental, energy, and litigation matters. Her contributions to the field further establish her as a thought leader, keeping her clients and peers informed of the latest developments and best practices.

Sun Lee-Such
Dr. Sun C. Lee-Such, a proud Purdue Boilermaker and trailblazer in health care, embodies the power of perseverance and purpose. Immigrating from South Korea at age ten, she was inspired by her parents’ belief that education is a promise, not just a goal. At Purdue, she excelled in science and leadership, serving as president of the Asian American Student Union and discovering her lifelong commitment to service and community. After earning her PharmD from Purdue, Dr. Lee-Such built a distinguished 25-year career in health care leadership. As Regional Vice President for Ancillary and Oncology Services at AdventHealth, she oversaw a $1.7 billion service line and led initiatives that provided millions in life-sustaining medications to patients in need. A Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives since 2011, she is recognized for leading with empathy, excellence, and integrity. Through all her achievements, Dr. Lee-Such remains deeply connected to Purdue — the place where her journey began and where her values of unity, purpose, and humanity continue to shine.

John Martinson
John Martinson is a highly accomplished venture capitalist with a diverse educational background. He earned a master's degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Purdue University in 1971 and graduated as a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy. While serving in the Air Force, he also obtained a master’s in business administration from Southern Illinois University in 1975. In 1986, Martinson founded Edison Partners, a venture capital firm that has raised a total of $2.5 billion across ten funds. Currently, he serves as the chairman of Martinson Ventures, which boasts a portfolio of 50 companies and 25 private equity/venture capital fund investments. Martinson has held board positions in more than 100 technology businesses and has been actively involved in leadership roles, such as chairman of the National Venture Capital Association and founder of various technology associations. Martinson's philanthropic efforts primarily focus on advancing K-12 STEM education, having sponsored 42 programs at 15 universities. Recently, he has expanded his support to technology upgrades at colleges of performing arts and regional theaters. Over the past two decades, Martinson has also sponsored various Purdue Engineering programs, including Inspire, EPICS, Women in Engineering, and the Martinson Entrepreneurial Center. In recognition of his significant contributions, the Purdue University Board of Trustees approved the naming of the honors college after John Martinson in April 2022. The college is now known as the John Martinson Honors College, honoring his generous $25 million gift.

Carlos Moreno
Carlos Moreno is the Vice President of Customer Order Fulfillment at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (part of Post Consumer Brands since July ‘25) and leads the strategic transformation across the finished goods distribution network for branded and private label products including pasta, granola, tree and nut butters, and healthy snacks. With over 20 years of experience in global end-to-end supply chain leadership—including roles at Hostess Brands (Twinkies®, Donettes®, and HoHos®), Kimberly-Clark (Huggies®, Kleenex®, Depend®), and Amazon Canada—he’s built a reputation for driving clarity in complex environments and delivering measurable outcomes. A multicultural, data-driven, and even-keeled leader, Carlos is passionate about building high-performance, cross-functional teams that align supply chain with enterprise growth engrained in Blue Ocean Strategy. Carlos recharges by mentoring future leaders, staying current on emerging supply chain technologies via his close ties to Purdue University, and connecting with peers who challenge the status quo. Carlos previously served in the Purdue Engineering Alumni Association Board as the international representative. He and his wife Gabriela established a scholarship in the School of Industrial Engineering. Carlos received the Outstanding Industrial Engineer Award from Purdue in 2015 and the Eminence Recognition from Penn State’s International Society of Service Professionals for Knowledge Sharing in 2024. Outside of work, traveling, exploring global cuisines, staying active with Vinyasa, and of course spending time with family get his priority.

Paige Rudin Kinzie
Paige Rudin Kinzie is a veterinary health systems engineer designing and implementing sustainable and equitable policy solutions to complex problems at the intersection of animal, human, and environmental health. Paige is currently a joint Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine) and Master of Public Health (University of Minnesota) student. She holds a B.S.E. degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering (Honors, 2019) and a minor in Global Engineering Studies from Purdue University. Paige is also the 2018 Indiana Truman Scholar and completed a Boren Scholarship in Romania (2018), combining language and cultural immersion with experience in veterinary clinics, followed by a position as a Truman-Albright Fellow working for the RAND Corporation’s Department of Homeland Security policy portfolio in Washington, DC. Most recently, she worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as an ORISE Fellow studying emerging infectious disease in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Charles Whiteman
Charles H. Whiteman is Dean Emeritus of the Penn State Smeal College of Business. Whiteman assumed the leadership position at Smeal in July 2012 and served for twelve years before retiring. In his role as dean, he oversaw the largest of the top-20 business schools and of the Big 10 as measured by degrees granted. His term as dean was marked by dramatic expansion of opportunities for students, from the introduction of a Smeal Business Certificate for students in other colleges to the creation of more than two dozen graduate certificate and Master’s degree programs. Throughout, the Smeal faculty was highly ranked for research productivity. Prior to moving to Penn State, Whiteman spent 32 years at the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa, culminating in appointment as the Leonard A. Hadley Chair in leadership and a six-year term as Senior Associate Dean of the College. Whiteman holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in economics from the University of Kansas. He has authored more than five dozen academic papers and two books, and served as an advisor to the Iowa Department of Management and as visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Banks of Kansas City, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Minneapolis. In October 2024, Whiteman was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Hampton University, an HBCU.
