Show off your research in the ‘Birthplace of Blues’

By Emma Alexander,
Honors Communications Intern

Undergraduate research is a significant and impactful opportunity, which we are blessed to have in abundance here at Purdue University. However, beyond the research itself, it is important to share that knowledge and passion for discovery with others. Conferences and poster sessions are an excellent opportunity to do just that. The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is unique, in that it brings together undergraduate researchers from across the nation and from all disciplines and fields of study. It allows for the exchange of ideas and celebrates undergraduate achievement in all forms. What’s more, the next conference is in the birthplace of blues, rock n’ roll, and soul: Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to conference events, participants will have the opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the culturally rich city of Memphis.

Sound intriguing? Applications are open now until December 2. All you need to do to apply is submit an abstract. If you have any further questions you can visit the conference website or speak to the Honors College faculty members listed below.
