Signature Programs

The Meet the Innovator speaker series was created to connect our bright students with interdisciplinary thinkers who are making a difference in the world around them. This series also includes the in residence visiting scholar program, Innovator in Residence.

This is a welcoming event to introduce new students to our vibrant honors community, learn more about the college, and meet faculty, staff and student leaders. Our orientation is typically held the weekend before classes start in the fall semester.

Design Garage workshops are creative explorations in technology. Small groups of students work on projects, led by our faculty partners.

This series is dedicated to giving students all the tools that they need to succeed in the real world: academically and in the job market.

This series is geared towards first and second-year students looking to jump-start their undergraduate research experience. Students learn about beginning steps to take from both faculty and upper-division students in discipline-specific lunchtime discussions.

The Honors College is an integral partner in the larger Purdue campus community with participation in time-honored traditional events such as Homecoming, Family Weekend and SpringFest.

In these events, enjoy seasonal meals hand-prepared by Dean Phillips herself. Join us for the most delicious form of community-building.

A new tradition of welcoming back all of our honors students at the start of the fall semester to reconnect with the college and join in on the excitement of a new academic year.

A chance to celebrate the holiday season and enjoy a relaxing break before the end of the fall term. Cookies, hot chocolate, and ginger bread houses will be a part of this festive event with fellow honors students, faculty, and staff.
