Kristina Bross is a member of Purdue’s Teaching Academy and is enrolled in the Book of Great Teachers. She is a recipient of the Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award, received a Center for Undergraduate Instructional Excellence (CUIE) fellowship and was a Service-Learning Faculty fellow. She has edited a collection of essays by Purdue undergraduates that presents their archival research into Purdue’s history: Little Else Than a Memory: Purdue Students Search for the Class of 1904 (Purdue Univ. Press for the Honors College), and recently her students documented their research into Purdue’s past through the blog “More than a Memory.”

Dr. Diane Facinelli has been with the Purdue Honors College since August of 2014, having spent the previous 21 years at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State. Inaugural Dean Emerita
Rhonda Phillips is committed to value-added learning experiences, combining educational, research and engagement opportunities in experiential, transformative environments. She provides interdisciplinary teaching and research experience across a range of diverse topics, including economic and technology-based development, urban and regional planning, and well-being studies. Rhonda joined Purdue in 2013, the inaugural year of the Honors College, from Arizona State University where she was Associate Dean for Barrett, The Honors College.

Ningning (Nicole) Kong is an associate professor of Library Science and a GIS specialist, who has teaching experience in the Honors College, the Department of Anthroplogy, and the School of Forestry and Natural Resources. She holds a Ph. D. in Ecology from Penn State University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Geography from Peking University. Dr. Kong has won numerous research and teaching grants, and she publishes regularly on the scholarship of teaching and learning.
Clarence Maybee is an associate professor of Library Science and an information learning specialist. He is an expert on curriculum design and an advisor for IMPACT, on which his 2018 book, IMPACT Learning: Librarians at the Forefront of Change in Higher Education, focuses. Dr. Maybee holds a Ph. D. from Queensland University of Technology and has won awards for his research. He is currently the Information Literacy Series Editor for Purdue University Press and the incoming chair of Purdue’s Undergraduate Curriculum Council (UCC).
David Nelson is the Associate Director of Purdue’s Center for Instructional Excellence and a leader in Purdue’s IMPACT program. Dr. Nelson, who has a Ph.D. in History from University of California, Irvine, has held research grants from NSF and NIH and a Fulbright fellowship. He publishes on the scholarship of teaching and learning, and he has taught many times in Honors College, both in the Evolutions of Ideas series and as the lead of our Institutional Data course series.
