Mentor application open

Apply by Feb. 13 at 5pm

Mentor Shield

Honors students who are interested in becoming new mentors in Fall 2015 should apply by Friday, February 13th. Previous mentors who wish to return in Fall 2015 need only email Dr. Watkins and state their intentions in order to be considered.

France Study Abroad Callout

Tuesday Feb. 3, 5pm in Duhme Living Room

In HONR 299: French Food Culture, learn about French language and culture through a course in rural France, outside Lyon. The program will involve visiting a local market, cooking French foods (and tasting them), and learning about French wine and culture.

Italy Study Abroad Callout

Tuesday Feb. 10, 6:30pm in Duhme Living Room

Venice

The Renaissance and the area surrounding Venice was particularly influential in the transition from a Medieval to a post-Renaissance way of thinking about all aspects of the human. Open to students with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

(NISO) NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS OFFICE

Goldwater Nominees

Purdue University has nominated four students for the Barry Goldwater Scholarship. The nominees to this national competition are Dalton Chaffee, a sophomore from Knoxville, TN with a major in Electrical Engineering; Ben Helfrecht, a junior from Batavia, IL with a major in Materials Science and Engineering; Sam Otto, a junior from Pittsburg, PA with a major in Aerospace Engineering; and Teresa Saenz, a sophomore from Michigan City, IN with a major in Materials Science and Engineering.
