"While I am in Spain, I will apply what I have learned in my classes here at Purdue to objectively observe the Spanish family dynamic and cultural values. A deep immersion in culture will ultimately help me interact with Spanish-speaking families when I open a private practice as a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist." Go Brandi!

Reminder: TAKE CARE DURING FINALS

Self-care is critical to success

study materials

Good luck during your finals next week! We just want to remind you that self-care is key to higher grades. Sleep and stay hydrated to stay at the top of your game. Inactivity for a prolonged period of time reduces the effectiveness of studying, so stretch and get some exercise during those valuable study breaks!

Sail past the finish line

Beat last minute procrastination

Corgi study

Don't feel guilty if you've fallen into a rut. Procrastination is caused by anxiety, not laziness. Here are a few tips to stay on task. Know yourself. Understand and avoid the habits that pull you away from your studies. Create and commit to realistic goals when practicing time management. Reward your progress and most importantly forgive yourself if you slip up.

You are capable of more than you know. Remember, it won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
